Appointments and interviews
Appointments are available for claimants who are housebound and
unable to bring information and evidence to the Council Offices and
One Stop Shops in support of their benefit claim. A visiting
officer is available to collect this information from your home.
Appointments can be arranged by calling the benefits department
on 01992 785503. Appointments will be arranged within
14 days from the call, and a time and date will be issued during
this call.
Appointments are also available for the over 60's who may be
entitled to additional welfare benefits under the Take Up Together
Scheme. To contact an advisor regarding additional welfare
benefits and pension credit for the over 60's, please call 01992
785555 extension 5814.
Housing and Council Tax Benefit claimants are welcome to make
appointments for private interviews, to discuss aspects of their
claim with a member of the benefits team. Appointments for
private interviews can be made by phoning 01992 785555 extension
5814 and a member of staff will be able to arrange a suitable time
and date.
