Payments
Payments of council tax, business
rates, parking fines and invoices can be made on
this website. If you have an account with
a UK bank or building society and a Visa/Visa Electron or Maestro
debit card, you can make a payment.

Instructions
You will need a valid debit or credit
card for this service. Please note that we do not accept
credit cards for payment of commercial rent or business rates.
Our online payment system
uses a pop up window as part of the functionality. If you have
a pop up blocker installed on your PC you will need to temporarily
switch this off to make a payment. This can be achieved by
holding down the CTRL key on your keyboard whilst clicking the
link.

Telephone
You can call our telephone line
on 0845 601 7620 to reach an automated response system which
enables credit and debit card payments to be made using a keypad
telephone.
When residents or customers call
the automated telephone line they will be asked to enter their
account or invoice number, the amount to be paid and their credit
or debit card details. Calls can be made from a landline at
the local rate and from mobile telephones at the service
provider's usual rates. This service is available 24 hours a
day, seven days a week.
If you would prefer to speak to a
member of staff, Council officers are able to accept card payments
over the telephone for a wide range of services. Please ask
for the department relevant to your payment or call the Council's
helpline on 01992 785577.
Bank
It is possible to make payments
via your bank through direct debit, standing order, bank automated
credit and telephone or internet instruction.
Post office
Payments for council tax, invoices and
parking fines can be made at Post office counters with a
payment card or bar-coded paperwork. Find your nearest
Post Office and details of their opening hours.
Paypoint
outlets
Payments for council tax, invoices and
parking fines can be made at Paypoint outlets with a payment card
or bar-coded paperwork. Find your nearest Paypoint
outlet and details of their opening hours.
Cheques or postal
orders
You can pay by cheque or postal
order made payable to 'Broxbourne Borough Council'. These
should be sent to Borough Offices, Bishops' College, Churchgate,
Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, EN8 9XG. Please ensure that you quote
your reference or account number when making payments to ensure
the correct allocation of funds.
In person
A payment kiosk is available in
the main reception at the Borough Offices, Bishops' College,
Churchgate, Cheshunt, Herts EN8 9XG.
Payments are accepted for council tax,
business rates, council invoices, parking and littering fines and
some licences. You may also continue to pay your Broxbourne Housing
Association rent and leaseholder charges through the kiosk.
Payments are accepted in cash or by
debit or credit card. Please note the kiosk does not accept £50
notes and change is given in coins.
You may purchase purple refuse sacks,
trade sacks and labels, dog waste sacks and recycling boxes by
making a payment at the kiosk and collecting your purchases from
the reception desk.
There will be a post box in the
reception area for payments by cheque.
Alternatively, you can pay
by card at the Council's one stop shops. The
cash offices within the one stop shops closed on 31 January
2012.
