Weekly Rates

The following tables below show the Local Housing Allowance (LHA) rates for all of Broxbourne. The Rent Service will provide the Council with the LHA rates on a monthly basis. The rates are effective from the first day of each month.

The LHA rate that is used to work out your benefit will depend on how many people are in your household.

 

One bedroom is allowed for:

  • An adult couple
  • Any other adult (aged 16 or over)
  • Any two children of the same sex, aged to 15 years
  • Any two children under 10 years-old
  • Or any other child

 

The number of living rooms, kitchens and bathrooms is ignored for the purpose of this calculation.
