Decent homes grants
Decent homes grants are available for vulnerable owner occupiers
on specific state benefits. The grant is to a maximum of
£5000.
The definition of a decent home:-
- Meeting the current minimum standard for private sector
housing
- A reasonable state of repair
- Reasonable modern facilities and services
- A reasonable degree of thermal comfort
