Motor Salvage Operator Licence
Motor Salvage Operators Regulations 2002
Any business that is involved in whole or in part in the
recovery, purchase, repair or re-sale of written-off vehicles or
salvageable parts from motor vehicles within the Borough must be
licensed by Broxbourne Borough Council. To operate without a
licence is an offence and those who are found not to comply with
the Regulations will be prosecuted. All licensed motor salvage
operators are required to maintain the records specified in the
regulations; failure to do so is an offence. All applicants will be
subject to a Criminal Records Bureau check.
