Scrap metal registration
Scrap Metal Dealers Act 1964
All scrap metal dealers who live or operate
within the Borough are required to register with the Council and
maintain the records specified in the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 1964.
Failure to register is an offence and those who are found not to
comply with the Act will be prosecuted. There is no charge to
register as a scrap metal dealer.
