Advice on offer at Landlords' Forum

The next private sector Landlords’ Forum will take place on Wednesday 18 April at 6.30pm in the Council Chamber, Bishops’ College, Churchgate, Cheshunt EN8 9XQ. 
Guest speakers will address the following topics:
The Homelessness Reduction Act
Data Protection Regulations 
The latest industry news including a legislative update
Each presentation will be followed by a question and answer sess

Residents invited to public meetings

Neighbourhood Forums are being held across the Borough of Broxbourne.

The public meetings, in April and May, will allow residents and anyone else who is interested to hear updates from the Council on local issues.

Representatives of the police will also give information on current matters.

Local solutions will be discussed with topics covered often including anti-social behaviour, crime, environmental issues, vandalism, and illegal parking.

Updates will also include news on local area improvement schemes and details of upcoming town centre and community events.

2018/19 green waste collections

Residents who subscribed to the Council’s Green Waste Collection Service in 2017/18 are reminded that their subscriptions are coming to an end.
However, residents who signed up by Direct Debit do not need to do anything to renew their subscription – their Direct Debit will renew automatically and payment will be taken in the week commencing 12 March 2018.
Meanwhile, residents who have not yet renewed their subscription for the year ahead, or would like to subscribe for the first time have two options:
  • Set up a Direct Deb

Young people shine at Broxbourne Youth Awards 2018

Inspiring young people were celebrated at the fourth annual Broxbourne Youth Awards at the Spotlight in Hoddesdon on Friday 9 March.

The awards celebrate the achievements of young people who live or study in the Borough of Broxbourne and those who provide services to them.

A total of 17 awards were given during the evening. Winners were chosen from 381 nominations from members of the public – 20% more than last year.
