Churchyards

There are four churchyards in Broxbourne, which are now closed to burials. The churchyards belong to the diocese of St Albans and are maintained by Broxbourne Council. The churchyards are attractive features of the Borough and of historic interest.

St Mary's Church

 

St Marys Church,Cheshunt

is a Grade l listed building dating from 1418 and a particular feature of interest is the Cromwell family vault.

 

 

 

 

St Augustines Church, Broxbourne

St Augustine's Church, Hoddesdon

is Grade l listed building and also dates from the fifteenth century.

 

 

 

 

St Catherines & St Paul's Church, Hoddesdon

is Grade ll* listed and dates from 1732.

 

St Laurences Church, Wormley is Grade ll* listed and dates from the twelfth century.
