Cheshunt Marriott Hotel

The Cheshunt Marriott Hotel is one of the few establishments in the country licensed to hold Wedding Ceremonies in the relaxed setting of our Gazebo, situated in our landscaped Courtyard Garden. Alternatively, the Broxbourne Suite is available for your Ceremony should the weather be inclement. On entering either the Courtyard Garden or our Broxbourne suite, you will be greeted with a smile from your friends and family who will be seated during your Wedding Ceremony.

The Hertfordshire Golf and Country Club

The Hertfordshire Golf and Country Club is the perfect setting in which to celebrate a Marriage Ceremony and Reception. It is located in the comfortable surroundings of a Jacobean red brick period mansion, set in a relaxing back drop of mature trees, lily pad lakes and the rolling fairways of a Nicklaus designed Golf Course.

Theobalds Park Hotel

Legalities

Legal Notice of Marriage can not be given more than one calendar year in advance of the date of the proposed wedding, but provisional bookings are taken up to two years ahead. It is, however, advisable to make your arrangements and give notice as early as possible as the most popular dates and times are reserved quickly. Within the year of the proposed marriage, once the provisional booking has been made, this will only be held secure for three weeks, so it is necessary to make the appointment to give legal notice as quickly as it is practical to do so.

If you live in a district other than Broxbourne, you will be advised which district you will need to attend to complete the legal formalities. It is necessary to reside in a district for seven days prior to giving notice of marriage
