Community reassurance

Broxbourne is one of the safest areas of the
country in which to live. Levels of crime and anti-social behaviour
in the Borough are low and have been falling over the last two
to three years. However, the 2008 Place Survey revealed that
Broxbourne residents had concerns about these issues that far
outweighed the recorded levels of these types of incidents.
The Broxbourne Community Safety Partnership
has developed a strategy to inform local residents about the low
levels of crime and ASB in the area. The Reassurance
and Confidence Strategy outlines how the Community Safety
Partnership plans to change public perceptions about crime and ASB
in Broxbourne.
