Community volunteering

Do you want to make your community a safer and better place to
live?
Community volunteers are wanted to work on various projects
around the Borough - helping to keep the streets clean
and safe.
The Broxbourne Community Safety Partnership is running a
number of volunteering schemes to enable local people to get more
involved in their communities.
- Dog watch - dog walkers can help the
police and council by keeping a look out for
crime, anti-social behaviour and fly-tipping. For further
information contact: jill.dockley@herts.pnn.police.uk.
- Speed watch - teams of volunteers use speed
indication devices to encourage drivers to slow down. Contact PCSO
Nicole Wilson on 01992 533240 or nicole.wilson@herts.pnn.police.uk for
more information.
