Local area small scale schemes

Broxbourne Council has made available up to £100,000 for
local area small scale schemes.
The Council produces a quarterly report detailing projects
completed during the last quarter, in response to a request from
the Scrutiny Committee. The Local Neighbourhood Budgets Monitors
are in the related links.
These funds can be used to fund projects
in the local area and can be nominated by local residents, local
councillors or other agencies. The Council has set very wide
parameters to the types of projects that could be
considered, provided there is evidence to show the proposal
will potentially improve community safety or quality of life in
that area. Projects could include fencing, lighting
improvements or additional targeted actions by the Council or
the Police to address an identified problem of anti-social
behaviour.
If you wish to nominate a project for
consideration please contact the community safety team on 01992
785573 or e-mail community.safety@broxbourne.gov.uk.
