This area has been a regular gathering point
for youths causing anti-social behaviour. Local residents
raised a petition asking the Council to take action to address the
problem by gating off the rear service road. In agreement with
the shops owners who have rear access to their premises, a set of
gates were installed in a match funding agreement between the
Council and shop owners. The total cost of the project
was £5,000.
