| After - gates prevent access for youths |
Reports by the community to the Police
and Council indicated that Broxbourne High Road and the area to the
rear of the shops has had issues of anti-social behaviour from
gathering youths. The Council and Hastingwood Securities, the
management company, jointly funded measures to improve the
immediate area and help to minimise any anti-social
behaviour. The scheme included the installation
of gates to the rear service road of the houses in Grosvenor
Road and fencing to the surrounding car park. The total cost of the
project was £3,225, half funded by the Council and half funded
by Hastingwood Securities.
