Neighbourhood policing
Neighbourhood policing tackles the issues that are important to
residents in the Borough of Broxbourne. It's about making sure that
the police, working with other agencies, provide the service that
residents want.
Each neighb
ourhood,
which is a cluster of wards,
has its own team comprised of Neighbourhood
Constables, Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) and
officers from the Special Constabulary whose entire focus is
on that area. They work closely with local authority wardens and
officers, Neighbourhood Watch groups and people and organisations
accredited as 'partners' in community safety.
