Landshare

The aim of Landshare
is to bring together people who have a passion for home-grown
food by connecting those who have land to share with those who need
land for cultivating food. Since its launch in 2009, Landshare has
grown into a community of over 55,000 growers, sharers and
helpers.
The initiative is suitable for people who:
Want to
grow their own fruit and vegetables but don’t have
anywhere to do it.
- Have spare land that they’re willing to share.
- Are able to help in another way, such as sharing expertise
and lending tools to helping out on the plot.
- Support the idea of freeing up more land for growing.
- Are already growing and want to join in the community.
To get involved with the landshare project in any capacity,
visit the Landshare website and search
for the nearest plot, or start up a new one.
