Pauline Atwell is responsible for working with older people in the
Borough. Her role involves making contact with elderly
victims of crime to offer them a visit to talk about their
experience and provide reassurance and support. Pauline also
liaises with other agencies to ensure they have adequate security
measures and offers crime prevention advice where required.
Pauline patrols shopping areas, providing advice to shoppers
about purse dippers as well as visiting retirement homes, day
centres and luncheon clubs to ensure that residents and guests are
aware that she is available should they wish to discuss
anything.
