HAD (Hertfordshire Action on Disability)
24 hour
transport
Hertfordshire Action on Disability (HAD) provides a
transport service for those in the community who, because of
disability, cannot travel around easily. The transport
service is designed to help people with disabilities to travel
around 24 hours a day, for both one-off and regular journeys, often
at short notice. The wheelchair-accessible transport service
provides floor clamping, inertia reel seatbelts and a low ramp to
the rear of the vehicle. Each vehicle can transport up to two
wheelchairs and two seated passengers, plus additional seating for
a carer.
HAD also provides self drive hire for families with a wheelchair
user.
