Welcome to the Borough of Broxbourne
Visit the Borough of Broxbourne and stay in a beautiful setting
surrounded by attractive parks, woodlands and waterways within a
short distance from London. Enjoy a variety of things to do, see
and explore in the Borough and nearby. Indulge yourself with good
quality food, drink and accommodation.
Broxbourne is in Hertfordshire, England and is
situated in close proximity to London, covering an area of 20
square miles.

It is the home of the
Lee Valley White Water Centre, a world class
sporting facility for white water rafting and canoeing
which is being built for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
It will open for public use in spring 2011, the only
brand new Olympic venue to open for public use before the Olympic
Games.
The White Water Centre is located on the edge of the Lee Valley
Regional Park in Waltham Cross. Waltham Cross is the most
southerly of the Borough's towns, with a busy commercial
centre, and situated on the periphery of London. At the most
northerly point is Hoddesdon Town, a
small, attractive market town with a high street
conservation area containing a number of historic buildings.
Cheshunt, the largest town in the Borough, is located to the
north
of Waltham Cross.
To the east, the Lee Valley Regional Park stretches the length of
the Borough, providing a beautiful setting to escape urban life and
enjoy outdoor activities such as walking, running, cycling and
water sports.
