Town centres
Broxbourne has two district town centres, Hoddesdon and Waltham
Cross.
Hoddesdon
Hoddesdon is an attractive, small market town with an
interesting mix of independent and national retailers reinforced by
a café and restaurant offer. The town centre has many attractive,
historic features, a market on Wednesdays and Fridays and shop
fronts that are generally well maintained.
Waltham Cross
Waltham Cross town centre is a busy commercial centre with
a pedestrianised high street incorporating a mix of
independent and national retailers and a market on Wednesdays and
Fridays.
Town centre events
The Council, in conjunction with local community organisations,
has developed a programme of events for
Hoddesdon and Waltham Cross town centres.
