Elections and registering to vote
Local government elections are held every year on a four
year cycle.
During years one to three, a third of the
Councillors for the Borough of Broxbourne are elected each
year.
In year four Councillors are elected to the County
Council.
European Parliamentary Elections are held on a five year
cycle. The most recent took place on 4 June 2009.
The Parliamentary (or general) election must be held within five
years and the last one took place on 6 May 2010.
Polling stations
Polling stations are
situated at various locations around the Borough and on
election day are open from 07:00 to 22:00.
