The Cabinet meets around eight times per year.
To find documents for any Cabinet meeting, select the date of the
meeting from the menu on the left of this page. Agendas, minutes,
reports and information sheets can be found in the related links
section at the bottom right of the webpage for each meeting.
The Cabinet provides notice of decisions it
intends to take which are of particular significance (key
decisions) or are likely to be considered in private session, in a
regular notice published on the webpage. The 'Key Decision
and Private Meeting Notice' can be found in the related links
section.
The Cabinet sometimes appoints member advisory groups to
consider specific policy areas. The groups comprise both Cabinet
and non-Cabinet members and are established to form recommendations
on the matters within their remit, which are then forwarded to the
Cabinet, or other appropriate decision maker, for formal approval.
Details of Cabinet advisory groups currently operational can be
found in the related links section of this webpage.
