Cabinet
The Cabinet is the body of Councillors which makes the majority
of the Council’s executive decisions. The Cabinet is chosen by the
Leader of the Council; the current Cabinet consists of the Leader
of the Council and five other Cabinet members. Meetings of the
Cabinet are open to the members of the public.

The Cabinet meets around eight times per year.

The Cabinet is required to publish notice of
important decisions it will take in the near future in a ‘Forward
Plan’. The Forward Plan is updated and published on a monthly
