Neighbourhood forums
There are six neighbourhood forums covering the Borough.
Each group meets twice a year:
- Cheshunt covers the Cheshunt North
and Cheshunt Central wards
- Goffs Oak and West
Cheshunt covers the Goffs Oak, Flamstead End,
Rosedale and Bury Green wards
- Hoddeson North covers the Hoddesdon North and
Rye Park wards
- Hoddesdon Town covers the Hoddeson Town
and the Broxbourne wards
- Waltham Cross covers the Waltham Cross and
Theobald wards
- Wormley Turnford covers the
Wormley Turnford ward
The aim of the groups is to encourage the public’s engagement in
creating safer communities across the Borough. They consider local
solutions to anti-social behaviour problems to help reduce the
level of crime and anti-social behaviour and fear of crime in the
neighbourhood. A range of local issues has been examined over
recent months, including nuisance youths, vandalism, illegal
parking and under age drinking.The groups consist of members of the
public, and representatives of the Council and police. Other
items of general local interest are also discussed at these
meetings.
