Latest edition of Broxbourne News is published

The May 2012 edition of Broxbourne News has been published and
residents will soon recieve a copy.
This edition includes details of the Council's new Cabinet,
Jubilee celebrations taking place across the Borough, information
on the National Torch Relay and more.

Council Meeting Summary
Leader of the Council, Councillor
Paul Mason, announced the new Cabinet at the recent Council
Meeting on 15 May. Full details of the cabinet are available to
view online. Councillor Eddy
Rowland and Councillor Bren Perryman were re-elected for a second
consecutive term as Mayor and Deputy Mayor, making it a first at
Broxbourne.
Also during the meeting, the final
Special Diamond Jubilee and London 2012 Olympic Games Awards were
presented.

In celebration of The Queen's Diamond Jubilee, six
beacons will be lit across the Borough on Monday 4 June
at 10pm.
The lighting of the beacons forms part of the Council's
summer programme of events, organised to mark what is going to
be a very special year for Broxbourne.Residents are invited to
attend their local event.
The Community Open Day will be held on Saturday 7 July 2012, 2pm
- 5pm at the Borough Offices in Cheshunt.
This year's theme is
The Queen's Diamond Jubilee and
The London 2012 Games.
