Most education services are delivered locally by
Hertfordshire County Council's Children, Schools and Families
department. The department brings together the services provided by
the County Council's former education department and the children
and families part of social services.

Higher and Further Education
The Borough is home to the main campus of Hertford Regional College (HRC) which
provides top quality training and education with hundreds of
full-time and part-time academic and vocational courses to choose
from.
The new training facilities at both Broxbourne and Ware campuses
offer the opportunity of being taught by professional tutors
in a modern and welcoming adult learning environment.
Whether you are leaving school, returning to learning,
refreshing your skills or learning for fun, HRC will endevour to
provide you with the advice and support you need.
Adult and Family Learning
Herts Regional College welcomes all learners and offers a wealth
of adult learning opportunities aimed at helping people to find new
interests and develop new or existing skills, whether for pleasure
or simply to socialise. HRC also provides a range of Family
Learning programmes within various local Children's Centres and
other community venues.
As well as HRC there are a whole range of Adult and Family
Learning Providers within the Borough of Broxbourne providing many
interesting and rewarding courses for local residents and
families.
