This partnership has representatives from both the Borough
and the County Council, Hertford Regional College, the Learning
and Skills Council, primary and secondary Schools as well as
children’s centres, housing associations and voluntary sector
providers. An action plan is
updated to track progress with key objectives and
targets.
NextStep
NextStep, in Waltham
Cross High Street, offers opportunities to learn how to use a
computer including the Internet and email. They also have a
wide range of other courses ranging from word processing to webpage
design, plus courses to help improve English and number skills or
to learn a language. Courses are reasonably priced and are
offered in a relaxed environment where people can learn at their
own pace and all ages are welcomed.

Hertford Regional College
offers a wealth of adult learning opportunities aimed at helping
people to find a new interest and develop new or existing skills,
whether for pleasure or simply to socialise. The types of
opportunities available include learning a new language, painting
or drawing, craft skills, computing and the Internet and
photography courses. There are a range of prices for the
adult learning courses but depending on individual circumstances,
help may be available with some of the costs.
