Broxbourne Services is the Council's in-house contractor, known as a Service Organisation or 'SO'.  As well as delivering a number of key services to residents, Broxbourne Services offer high quality, value for money services to local businesses and non-profit making organisations.

Council services

Broxbourne Services deliver a wide range of front line services to local residents, including:

• Refuse and recycling collection services
• Street cleansing activities
• Grounds maintenance of the Borough's parks and open spaces
• Grounds maintenance of the Borough's grass verges and shrub beds on the public highway
• Grave digging and grounds maintenance at Cheshunt cemetery and Hoddesdon cemetery 
• The servicing of the Borough's dog waste bins
• Highway improvement works such as vehicle crossovers and verge widening for the Council under an ongoing agreement with Hertfordshire County Council
• Statutory stray dog collections
• Domestic clinical waste collections

Broxbourne Housing Association

Broxbourne Services has two contracts with Broxbourne Housing Association; one to perform maintenance and repair works at vacant housing properties and the other which incorporates disabled adaptation works.  Information about Broxbourne Housing Association can be found on their website.
