Bulky waste collections
Broxbourne Services operates a
chargeable bulky waste collection service, allowing residents
and businesses to dispose of large and bulky quantities of waste,
such as:
- clearances of garden waste
and general rubbish
- collection of fridges, freezers,
washing machines, beds, furniture and much more
How can I arrange a bulky waste
collection?
Bulky waste collections can be arranged at a one stop shop or by contacting Broxbourne Services on 01992
642240.

online contact form and we will contact you to arrange a
collection.
The Council's Helpline (01992 785577) can
also provide advice on services, charges and instructions for
booking bulky waste collections.

How much does it cost?
The amount you will have to pay will depend on how many items
are to be disposed of. Please see the price
list for more information. Please note there is an
additional 2% charge for paying by credit card. There is no
charge if you make a payment by debit card.
Seperate charges exist for collections from commercial

Broxbourne Services operates a licensed waste transfer
station and is compliant with the Environmental Protection Act
1990, Duty of Care regulations and WEEE (Waste Electronic and
Electrical Equipment) Directive.
Broxbourne Services prides itself on recycling and ensuring
that services are carried out in an environmentally friendly
manner:
- garden waste is composted
- materials collected are separated and recycled where
possible
- remaining materials collected are disposed of at authorised
sites
