Application charges are set by the local authority in accordance with The Building (Local Authority Charges) Regulations 2010 to recover the costs incurred in carrying out the building control function on fee-earning works and break even year on year.
A copy of the full Borough of Broxbourne Building Regulations Charge Scheme 12, 2010 is available for inspection at the Council Offices Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.45am and 5.00pm. However, for ease of use, the fee tables and guidance notes have been split into three categories and can be downloaded below.
