Window and door replacement in dwellings
From the 1 April
2002, all owners replacing windows or doors need to obtain consent,
and the new glazing will have to fully meet the
requirements of the Building Regulations.

Notice form is to be completed unless the person carrying
out the work is registered under the Fenestration
Self-Assessment Scheme by Fensa Ltd [57], or by CERTASS Limited
[58] or the British Standards Institution in respect of that type
of work.
