Environmental improvements
Each year the Council has a programme of capital expenditure
which is used to enhance the Borough for the benefit of
residents.
These projects are undertaken at the request of residents or to
meet the Council's objectives of enhancing road safety and
preventing crime.
The Council welcomes comments from
residents on environmental improvements such as the provision
of litter bins, benches and parking bays, verge improvement
measures and reports on items of street furniture in need of
repair.
The capital programme 2009/2010
Early in 2009, the Council determined a budget of
£629,000 allocated for its environmental enhancement schemes.
Any comments which you may wish to make on the expenditure on
the various items should be sent via email to construction@broxbourne.gov.uk
or by mail to the Borough Offices. Alternatively you may deliver a
letter into your local one stop shop.
