Highway improvements

Verge protection by double kerbing

 

Verge adjustments for emergency vehicles and freighter access will improve the means of access and road safety.  This will also prevent verge damage by freighters.  Verge protection measures will also be undertaken, including double kerbing and posts and tree planting.  

 

  • Traffic management measures will be re-evaluated, and new parking controls will be considered with a review of both on street and off street parking
  • Short lengths of footways will encourage walking over driving
  • New footway/cycleway bridge to be be built over the A10 north of Theobalds, Waltham Cross

 

New street nameplates will be installed as required.
