Broxbourne
Borough Council is responsible for the management of 11 car parks
in the Borough and for the enforcement of parking controls in these
car parks and on street. The Council carries out its duty
under what is called Civil Parking Enforcement, this is under Part
6 of the Traffic Management Act Part 4.
The purpose of parking enforcement is to provide better traffic
management to encourage sensible and safer parking to improve
traffic flow and highway safety.
