Charges in the Council's public pay
and display car parks
The Council runs 12 pay and display
car parks throughout the Borough. Eight of these car
parks are accredited with the Park Mark safer parking award.
Broxbourne Council has an agreement
with the Lee Valley Regional Park Authority to manage the car
park at Broxbourne Riverside, the former Lee Valley Leisure
Pool. This car park provides a competitive daily rate for
commuters, as does the Council's car park adjacent to Waltham Cross
station.
Motorcycles may park free of charge iif parked in a dedicated
motorcycle bay.
There is no charge for a disabled persons badge holder to park
in the Council's car parks although this does not include
reserved/permit bays.

Leased bays
Leased bays are available in some of the Council's car parks to
aid parking for local businesses.
Annual charge £430.00
Council car parks are run in accordance with the Borough of
Broxbourne Parking Places Order 2008.
Private car parks
There are several private car parks throughout the Borough of
Broxbourne. For information on the terms and conditions and tariffs
for these car parks, please check the notices and pay and display
machines at each car park.
Contraventions
A penalty charge notice (PCN) will be
issued if:
- Parked in a disabled person's parking space without clearly
displaying a valid disabled person's badge
- Parked in a reserved bay/restricted area/on a yellow line.
- Parked causing an obstruction
- Parked during chargeable hours without displaying a valid pay
and display ticket.
- Not parked wholly within the bay markings.
- Parked after the expiry of time paid for.
- Parked within one hour of a previous period of
waiting.
- Parked longer than 24 hours (six hours for Windmill Lane).
Parking for disabled drivers
This is free to assist disabled drivers and passengers. Spaces
are provided near to the pedestrian entrances to car parks. These
are for European Blue badge holders only.
