Planning policy

The planning policy team
The planning policy team is responsible for preparing,
monitoring and updating planning policies in Broxbourne. It is
through the effective implementation of these policies that the
Council seeks to create prosperous and sustainable communities.
The adopted planning policies for shaping
development in the Borough are currently set out in the Broxbourne Local Plan Second Review which was
adopted in December 2005. Work has begun to replace this Local Plan
under the guidance of the Government's
National Planning Policy Framework.
