Policy CS5 Employment of the Submission Core Strategy carries forward the saved policies of the Broxbourne local plan by identifying key employment sites as Hoddesdon Business Park, Plumpton Road and the Merck Sharp Dohme complex in Hoddesdon, Delamare Road and Fieldings Road in Cheshunt and Lea Road / Britannia Road and Park Plaza South in Waltham Cross.

The Council intends to work with landowners, developers and relevant statutory bodies as well as local community groups and residents to prepare improvement plans for Hoddesdon Business Park, Delamare Road and Fieldings Road in Cheshunt and Lea Road / Britannia Road in Waltham Cross. 

The purpose of the plans is to deliver the spatial vision, strategic objectives and policy ambitions of the Broxbourne Submission Core Strategy to ensure that key employment sites in the Borough are retained and improved for a range of uses and activities.

Hoddesdon Business Park improvement plan

The Hoddesdon Business Park draft improvement plan has been prepared to help gain a better understanding of the Park's occupants and their needs, to identify its strengths and weaknesses and to set out actions for short and long term improvements.

The draft improvement plan was published for consultation in January/ February 2012. Copies of the document can still be viewed at the Council Offices, one stop shops and on the Council's website.
