Development briefs

Development briefs set out the general development principles, technical reports

 

 and contributions that will be expected from developers in bringing forward a major site. A statement of consultation produced with the brief gives details of public consultation, the Council's response and changes made to the final document.

 

Development briefs for the following un-developed sites have been produced:

• St Marys School, Cheshunt (Adopted October 2004)
• The Spinning Wheel, Broxbourne (Adopted October 2004)
• Cheshunt South Reservoir (February 2008)

 

The following sites have been developed. Their briefs are still available here:

• HertfordRegional College, Turnford  (Adopted November 2005)
• Churchgate Nursery, Cheshunt (Adopted November 2004)
• Hailey/Maff Site, Hoddesdon (April 2002)
• Canada Fields, Cheshunt (July 2001)

 

Broxbourne leisure pool draft develoment brief: Consultation

Broxbourne Council, in partnership with the Lee Valley Regional Park and British Waterways, have prepared a draft development brief for the future of the leisure pool and the surrounding area along Nazeing New Road  in Broxbourne. There will be a 6 week consultation period in which we welcome any comments on the brief beginning on the 13th of October and ending on the 24th of November 2008.

 

The brief can also be inspected at the Council Offices and at One Stop Shops. Comments can be sent via post to the Planning Policy Department at the Borough Offices or by emailing it to: vc.planningpolicy@broxbourne.gov.uk
