Saved Policies
As a result of changes to national guidance, the Secretary of
State has directed the Council to 'save' particular policies in the
Local Plan until such time as they are replaced by policies in the
Local Development Framework (LDF). There are eight policies
in the Local Plan which have now been deleted because they repeat
national guidance or because they are no longer applicable.
The Pre-Submission Core Strategy lists a further four policies
that will be deleted by virtue of the adoption of the Core
Strategy.
