Survey results

A survey was sent to all residents who have been participating in the purple and clear sack pilot. It was sent on the 10 March, and residents were invited to respond by the 18 April. Questions included how many refuse bags householders put out before and after the scheme started, how residents recycling habits have changed and whether residents were satisfied with the scheme.

In total the Council received 1194 completed surveys. Of these 642 were from the Goffs Oak area and 552 were from the Rye Park area. On average 71 per cent of these residents are satisfied with the scheme.
