Town centre recycling bins

There are recycling bins for cans and plastic bottles in Waltham Cross and Hoddesdon town centres to help shoppers recycle their empty cans and plastic bottles while they are out and about.

These bins are located outside the Jennings Bookmaker shop in Waltham Cross and outside the Salisbury Arms pub in Hoddesdon. Initially these new recycling bins are intended as a trial but if they prove successful, other bins will be installed at sites across the Borough.

Leisure centre recycling

There are five recycling bins for plastic bottles at the Grundy Park leisure centre and four recycling bins, two for plastic bottles and two for cans, at the John Warner leisure centre.

The recycling bins have been provided to make it easier for users of the leisure centres to recycle their empty drinks containers, rather than throw them away with the general refuse.
