For your recycling not your rubbish!
There are 25 Neighbourhood

by following these guidelines:

- Put your recycling inside the banks provided
- Place only plastic types 1 (PETE) and 2 (HDPE) in the
plastic recycling container

You can contribute to making sure that NRCs are kept clean
and tidy by contacting the Council when bins are nearly
full to overflowing or the site is littered, and by picking up
small amounts of rubbish if you wish. For more information and
to receive the appropriate equipment, please call the
Helpline on 01992 785577.
Household Waste Recycling Centres
These can be found at Brookfield Farm, Turnford and Pindar Road,
Hoddesdon.
At HWRCs, householders can recycle paper, magazines, cardboard,
green garden waste, glass bottles and jars, cans, plastic bottles,
wood, textiles, engine oil, fridges, TVs, tyres, fluorescent
lighting tubes, batteries, toner cartridges, metals and mobile
phones. The household waste that you can not re-use or recycle can
be taken to a HWRC.
