Assisted refuse collection
The Council offer an assisted collection
service of refuse, recycling and garden waste to residents who
are elderly, disabled or infirm.
Residents on exemptions are able to leave
their refuse and recycling at a place that is convenient to them
though the crew must be able to access the materials
easily.
If you feel that you may qualify for an assisted collection,
please contact the Council's helpline and a form will be sent out.
All requests are assessed on a case by case basis.
Exemptions are renewable on an annual basis
and run from 1 April to 31 March every year.
