Household waste recycling centres
Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) not
only accept waste, but a large variety of household material
can be recycled there including:
- wood
- textiles
- engine oil
- fridges
- televisions
- tyres
- batteries
- metals
There are two HWRCs in the Borough at the following
locations:

Hoddesdon HWRC
Pindar Road Industrial Estate, off Essex Road, Hoddesdon.
Both sites are open daily from 8am - 6pm.
Closed Christmas day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
