Purple sack scheme

Woman with clear and purple sacksThe purple sack pilot started in November 2007 in both the Goffs Oak and Rye Park areas.

 

Purple sacks are now delivered on an annual basis every March. The scheme encourages residents to reduce their waste to one sack per week by reducing, reusing and recycling.
