Household waste recycling centres
Household
Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) not only accept
waste, but a large variety of household material can
be recycled there. The following table shows a sample of these
materials:

There are two HWRCs in the
Borough at the following locations:
At Brookfield Farm, Fairways, Cheshunt.
At Pindar Road Industrial Estate, off Essex Road, Hoddesdon.
Both sites are open daily from 08:00 until 18:00.
Closed Christmas day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
