Abandoned Trolleys

Broxbourne Council constantly seeks to ensure
that our district continues to be one of the cleanest in the
country. One specific problem is caused by shopping trolleys
and other types of trolleys, which have been taken from their
original site and abandoned in the surrounding communities.
When abandoned, these trolleys become a blight on the quality of
the local environment, harm wildlife and may cause a flood hazard
when dumped in water courses. Please help us to help your
local environment by reporting any shopping trolleys which have
been abandoned in the Borough of Broxbourne.
On receipt of a report Broxbourne Borough
Council will collect the trolley and it will be stored under the
powers contained within the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment
Act (2005); Section 100.
To report these trolleys please contact the
helpline on 01992 785564 or make a report online to environment@broxbourne.gov.uk
A report can also be made by visiting our One Stop Shops.
