How you can help
Check when your road is scheduled to be cleaned by using
the bin day finder in the online services. If possible,
please do not park on the road so the Council can
thoroughly sweep and remove litter and detritus and also keep the
channels free of weeds.
Keep litter off our streets and footpaths - use the many litter
bins and dog bins provided throughout the Borough.
Tips for residents

On the morning your street is due to be cleansed you can:
- Voluntarily remove your vehicles from your street
- Agree with neighbours to park on one side of the road
(alternate this each time your street is cleansed)
To help keep your street tidy in between cleanses you can:
If you have a comment to make about the cleansing of your
street, please telephone the Helpline or use the
online customer comment card.
If you see an incident of spillage (oil, gravel, sand or other
waste) on the highway please record the registration number of
the vehicle, and any telephone number and company name visible on
the vehicle. Please report this to the Helpline on
01992 785577.
