The Council is responsible for ensuring that the name of every street is clearly marked using suitable street nameplates.

In the case of a new development however, it is the developer who is responsible for the erection of nameplates to the Councils specification.

There is a lead time of around six weeks for production and installation of a new or replacement street nameplate.

Anyone who sees a damaged street nameplate in the Borough is urged to contact the Council’s helpline on 01992 785577, or make a report online to environment@broxbourne.gov.uk

A report can also be made by visiting our One Stop Shops.
