Waltham Cross renaissance

 

Waltham Cross is situated at the most southerly point of the Borough, bordering Greater London. The town has excellent transport links by road, rail and air. It is situated nearby to the M25, M1, A1 and M11 offering easy access to the country’s main road arteries. The A10 trunk road runs north to south on the western side of Waltham Cross, providing direct access to Cambridge and London. The M25 runs east to west on the southern side of Waltham Cross, providing a circular route to bypass central London. Regular and speedy services operate from Waltham Cross railway station to London Liverpool Street in the south and Stansted Airport and Cambridge in the north. Railway services to the south offer a convenient means to access the Eurostar and Channel Shuttle, enabling quick and efficient access to continental Europe. Stansted, Luton, Heathrow, London City and Gatwick airports are all within driving distance of Waltham Cross, providing excellent national and international links.
