Waltham Cross renaissance map
Waltham Cross railway station, Waltham Cross town centre, Park
Plaza, Theobalds Grove and sites near to the Lee Valley White Water
Centre are areas which will benefit from the Waltham Cross
renaissance.
Waltham Cross renaissance funding
The Waltham Cross renaissance and associated works are funded
from various sources, including the Council’s capital and revenue
programmes, Hertfordshire County Council’s capital programme for
highway works, Section 106 contributions from new developments,
grants via the Broxbourne Local Strategic Partnership and
Hertfordshire Forward, specific Government grants and private
sector investment.
Council's capital and revenue programmes
The Council allocated £361,000 in 2011/12 towards the first

proposes that this work is brought forward within the next two
years.
